falling is the second track on the tintswalo ep, released on anjunachill in april 2025. it moves like memory—driven by drums, the powerful presence of the organ, and steady piano. it tumbles, rises, repeats. there is weight in the rhythm, and then release.

the track opens with a bold organ statement that sets the tone: not a descent into darkness, but into awareness. a sombre procession of trombones weaves through the core, contrasted by a loose, jazzy piano groove and fragmented break-beat drums.

influences include nils frahm’s sunson and maribou state’s portraits—records that taught us how energy can pulse without rushing, and how emotion can live in the tension between structure and improvisation.
